The Hood Internet had unleashed a brand new mashup for our consumption. This time they mix Waka Flocka Flame with Twin Shadow and come out with a banger of a track titled Five Seconds Don’t Care.

Is it just me or does Waka Flocka Flame remind any one else like a Muppet?

My favourite album of all time is Third Eye Blind Self Titled. Every single song on that album is amazing, I have bought the CD three separate times and it was worth it each and every time.

So when I was scanning the email inbox and saw a Two Friends mashup that featured Jumper from Third Eye Blind I couldn’t fire a post together quick enough.

This track takes the best elements from three separate songs and puts them together perfectly.

Keep Your Secrets has been on repeat and really deserves a post all to itself. The Andrew Bayer original is magic and the subtle combination with M83 and the addition of some juicy bass is perfection.

Every week the Ambassador Beats inbox gets filled up with music submissions and every week there seems to be proportionately more mashups than any other genre.

The appeal has been on a steady incline since pioneers like Girl Talk and The Hood Internet kick started one of electronic music’s greatest sub-genres. Call it art, piracy or a guilty pleasure- either way it’s in our face and i’m not arguing.

Ultra & WMC 2012 have come and gone and there has been no shortage of highlights and new tunes.

The abundance of previews and live sets have us waiting in anticipation but some of us just can’t wait any longer. That’s where WE come in handy…

When Morgan Page released ‘The Longest Road’ back in 2008, nobody could have predicted the amount of miles the track would get.

Four years later, it has gone through countless hands including the grammy nominated remix from Deadmau5 and hip hop mogul Birdman.

I’ve had a close eye on the mashup world since the inception of Ambassador Beats and not many days have gone by without something new to listen to.

Many of them have come and gone but KapSlap, 3LAU and D.Veloped have d.veloped into household names among a sea of competition. Their consistency ranges up there with the likes of GirlTalk and Earworm and the innovation that continues to fuel these guys is damn impressive.

The A + B mashup formula is child’s play when you look at the latest installment of Bangers & Mash (with a side of spicy sauce from Nick Thayer & A.Skillz)

Dj Khaled and company have gone the distance with the hit song- ‘Im On One’ and after becoming a billboard top 10 hit and selling over 3 million copies, the popular mashup duo finally got their hands on it.

The recreation from The Hood Internet takes us on a space ship into an otherworldly dimension full of bubbles and Rick Ross sized doobies. Simply put, this track will take you to a good place.

Project 46 has had an impressive start to their career and have had an immediate impact in the EDM world.

The duo who JUST released their first track 3 months ago have already seen four Top 5 spots on Hype Machine, an EP in the Top 10 albums on beatport and three Top 5 tracks on iTunes. Pretty impressive to say the least.

Their latest mix- ‘Jigsaw’ samples the haunting voice from the Saw series and once again proves that these guys are onto something big. Throw in a free bootleg of Axwell vs. Coldplay and the title of ‘Rising Star’ is a no brainer.
