Things have been pretty slack here at the Ambassador Beats headquarters but we ALWAYS have our readers in mind.
To make up for a slow year end we put together a dozen FREE tunes that should not be missed from 2012…

Adventure Club have been bringing us unparalleled bass music for a little over a year.
Over this period they have not released a single track that I didn’t absolutely love. Their latest remix is nothing short of perfection and again the Montreal boys deliver it without asking anything more than a Facebook like. You’re too kind!

OWSLA’s latest signing has led to a vicious 6 track EP from the fresh faced trio- Monsta.
Every track is unique it’s own bass happy way but the Dillon Francis and Kill Paris collab really hit a special note with us. Chunky moombahton bass never sounded so fresh…

One of OWSLA’s newest talents just dropped their 4th EP Jaded Future and it is mental!
Birdy Nam Nam is still a new name to us but the DJ crew consisting of Crazy-B, DJ Pone, DJ Need and Little Mike are doing a good job of making themselves known in the EDM world.
Their new album is filled with remixes from the likes of Foreign Beggars, French Fries, Culprate and Skrillex himself- and it clearly takes on many innovative sub-genres of electronic music including glitch hop, dubstep, DnB and Trap.
Start your listening experience off by cranking both of Skrillex’s cuts of ‘Goin’ In’ and move on from there.

Every so often we come across an artist that redefines musical boundaries and conventional genres. A few examples that cross my mind are Skrillex, Deadmau5, Eric Prydz and more recently, Mat Zo.
Sevon Lions falls into that upper echalon of producers that are truly redefining modern music by trailblazing through uncharted territory. His sound is not limited to something others have done before- and ‘Days to Come’ is a good example of his uniqueness.
Sure enough label head Skrillex took notice to the fresh sounds of Sevon Lions and OWSLA will be releasing his EP on October 16th.
Keep an eye out for this talented young artist and his self titled EP in a few weeks!

Ever evolving Flosstradamus brings us an eclectic electronic mix of bass and mixed genres all wrapped into one very appealing remix of Sub Focus’s latest release ‘Tidal Wave’.
Sultry female vocals laced with drum n bass, dubstep and trap influences make this a sure shot ‘next level’ tune.
The track won’t be released until November 4th on Mercury Records but the preview should suffice until then. Check out more from Sub Focus on Soundcloud

Nero are back with a bangin’ FREE tune filled with their signature squabbles and ear melting bass.
‘Wont You Be There’ was rumoured to be titled ‘Game Over’ with partial credit going to Skrillex. Nevertheless the truth has set us free- but I can definitely see where the confusion stems from. (Think, ‘Promises’ )

It seems like we haven’t heard much from Ellie Goulding over the past 6 months.
Maybe the busy touring life with Skrillex has been the reason but either way, the floodgates seem to be opening. Last month she released a Weeknd Cover of ‘High For This’ and this week she dropped an original track as well as this super fresh remix from Active Child.
If you’re not already following Ellie on Soundcloud get on it because these FREE tracks are amazing.

Skrillex is a pioneer and his latest remix once again proves why he’s on top of the world right now. His ‘Goin’ Hard’ remix is a complete mixed bag of genres and I guess if we tried to sum this one up it would fall somewhere between moombahcore and dubstep.
Either way this is going to be a major release for OWSLA and electronic music in general and as always we are really excited to see where this new sound will take us.
Mark July 17th on your calendars as it marks the release of Birdy Nam Nam’s ‘Jaded Future’ EP

The Trap movement is officially underway and I am intrigued by the resurgence of this electronic sub genre.
Much like the rise of Moombahton, Trap music has quickly made it’s way through the intrawebs with guys like 12th Planet, Flosstradamus and Diplo spreading the good word. The genre is characterized by a slower tempo (around 75 bpm) alongside fast high hats and orchestral synths. It’s popularity began within the dirty south hip hop scene but has since fell into the ever-needy hands of EDM producers alike.
Today’s dose comes from bass-music duo Candyland who take Coolio’s anthemic ‘Gangsters Paradise’ and turn it on its head.
With releases like this you can expect to hear a lot more Trap music and Candyland tunes.

First off ‘Hide & Seek’ is one of those timeless tracks that has been recreated in countless ways by the likes of Tiesto, Afrojack, Otto Knows, Mt Eden and now Sound Remedy.
But what Sound Remedy does that no one has been able to do before is transform ‘Hide & Seek’ into a cluster fuck of hybrid electronic music. This melting pot of glitchy dubstep, electro, pop etc. fits into one perfect arrangement of musical genius.

At Dawn We Rage has been spot on with their productions as of late.
Their latest remix for Adventure Club & Krewella received heaps of praise from the artists themselves and has been a huge hit on the intrawebs.
Today they released a super chilled out cover of Deadmau5′s standout hit ‘Jaded’ available for FREE!

It’s a known fact that every track Adventure Club puts out is/will be exceptional.
These guys have one of the cleanest track records of any up & comers out there and absolutely nothing is about to change. Their latest offering (FREE D/L of course) dropped today and it carries on the same glitchy/melodic/euphoric dubstep feel that we have come to know.
And on a completely unrelated but related note: female dj/producer Dinka released a remix of James Vincent McMorrow- We Don’t Eat today that reminded me how good Adventure Club’s remix from a year ago is.
Grab all of these for FREE and bask in some flawless tunes

The masked man is back with a major 1-2 punch in the face.
‘The Funeral’ as we all know is a timeless track but Sound Remedy finds a way to re-up its value with an electro-dubby-house remix. Grab it for free and never take your eye off the young LA based producer.

In the process of writing a post on Kill Paris’s latest gem- ‘Keep Your Secrets in Midnight City’ he dropped another ear pleasing dubstep inspired track via Soundcloud.
Keep Your Secrets has been on repeat and really deserves a post all to itself. The Andrew Bayer original is magic and the subtle combination with M83 and the addition of some juicy bass is perfection.
Can you spot the Phil Collins- In The Air Tonight sample in ‘Shades of Funk’?

Two weeks of vacay has passed and here I am, writing a post to make everything alright again.
Consider this one an apology letter filled with driving basslines, proggy buildups, luscious vocals and the most pleasing ear milk to grace the airwaves since mid April.
