This Is Our Future

3 Dec

If you are still unsure about this whole dubstep movement and you think that maybe its just a phase that will quickly fade away… then you are in for a real suprise my friend(s). Bass music is slowly but surely infiltrating the music industry with artists like Skream, Sub-Focus, Nero & Rusko (producing tracks on the new Britney Spears album whhhat??) consistently bringing heavy dubstep into their productions. As these artists grow in popularity it has been interesting to see other producers who are now incorporating this popular genre into house music, electro, drum and bass and breaks. We are seeing an emergence of hybrid sounds from the likes of Deadmau5, Diplo, Porter Robinson & Skrillex. New sub-genres of dubstep are also being formed such as drumstep, lovestep, brostep, vocal dubstep… the list goes on and on.

We here at Ambassadorbeats.com love bass music and you can bet your bottom dollar that we will be following the evolution of the genres and subgenres of dubstep along the way. The reason for this rant is four fold…

1. If you are new to the site, this is a warning to be open minded to new forms of music that will change your life.

2. If you haven’t already, add us to facebook & twitter. If you are an artist/dj/producer send us your tracks.

3. I am in the midst of finalizing my first ever mix… a collection of some of the finest hiphop/dubstep remixes and collaborations. Check back for ‘Hip Hop Heavies’ mini-mix in the next few days!

4.My favorite producer of all time just released a sample dubstep tune, a first for him. A house producer at heart, Adam K is a true pioneer of sound and is once again proving that dubstep is our future. Check this shit out and get fired up for the future of electronic music!
