If you havn’t heard of Netsky… or Hospital Records then let me be the first to open your mind and expand your musical horizons. Drum & Bass is a genre of music that originated from traditional forms of ‘rave music’ in the UK in the early 90′s. It has evolved into many different sub genres including liquid, jump up and industrial and we are seeing an increase in the pairing of DnB with Dubstep, Breaks along with other genres of electronic music.

Hospital Records started out from the popularity of London Elektricity and after signing High Contrast, the label became a heavy hitter in the DnB scene. Signing Mistabishi, Danny Byrd and Netsky definitely didn’t hurt and big things have been happening out of the UK based label. Taking on more of a liquid funk style of DnB, these artists combine heavy basslines, soothing melodies and tantalizing vocals to bring uplifting music perfect for any time of the day.
